Dover Athletic Football Club have announced that they have accepted the resignation of manager Bill Williams following an approach from Kingstonian FC regarding the position of Director of Football at Kingsmeadow. Bill Williams was Dover's most successful manager in Conference football. In his four and a half years at the helm, he and assistant Clive Walker have taken the Whites from being perennial relegation candidates to being a well established Conference side, finishing in the top half in two of the last three seasons including a club best finish of 6th in 1999/2000. Dover Athletic have not yet made any announcement concerning Bill Williams' successor.
