DOVER ATHLETIC chairman Jim Parmenter admits he is playing a waiting game in the light of the collapse of Whites' kit manufacturer Vandanel.
The club was informed this week that the Essex-based company had gone into liquidation, amid speculation that another splinter company had been formed.
And this news raises the question of whether Dover will start the 2010-11 season in the new strip which was unveiled to fans in the Centre Spot at the end of last term, or if they will have to seek another supplier.
The chairman told www.doverathletic.com: "As far as I'm aware our new kit is at the moment sitting in a factory in China, waiting to be shipped over. I will be seeking assurances about the kit by the end of play today.
"It's a bit of a problem, for sure. But if we don't get assurances, then we will actively go out and find another manufacturer."
