Dover Athletic are pleased to announce that admission to this Saturday's game against Margate completely FREE for everyone*. What's more, we are offering supporters a special offer on Shepherd Neame beers in addition to our bar-my £1.95 a pint matchday beer price.
As a thank you to everyone that has supported us over the pre-season so far and to give the wider community a chance to see what we have to offer both on and off the pitch, the board of Directors thought this local derby was the perfect game to make FREE.
Chairman, Jim Parmenter said: "We have decided that the Margate game is a good opportunity to showcase the club to potential new supporters, as well as rewarding the loyal supporters who have attended our pre-season games so far."
We have teamed up with our Official Media Partner, Dover Express, to get the word out to the town, as we would like as many people as possible to take advantage of this offer.
The good news continues, we've teamed up with drink supplier, Shepherd Neame to introduce a 'Centrespot loyalty card'. For every pint of Oranjeboom or Spitfire you buy (which is only £1.95 a pint, by the way) at the Margate game, we'll stamp your card. You'll be able to swap three stamps for a free pint during our first home league game against Farnborough on 18th August.
This offer will be repeated throughout the season.
Club Director Alistair Bayliss said: “We’re really pleased to be able to offer our fans this deal, now that the Centre Spot is up and running with Viridor sponsoring Sky Sports and Shepherd Neame supplying the drinks, it’s the palce to be on matchday. Naturally we encourage our fans to drink responsibly!”
We hope that all of our supporters will help to spread the word and that a large crowd turns up to show its support for Dover's local Football Club.
