*BS*WHITES’ ACADEMY side overcame Tilbury this week, winning 2-0 away from home thanks to goals by Niall Jackson and Sean Raggett.*BF*

Boss Michael Sandmann reports on a performance to build on in difficult conditions:

A good result for the lads but a poor performance and one to forget and build on.

In very difficult playing conditions we found it hard to produce any real quality going forward and didn’t keep the ball as well as i would have expected.

I was disappointed with the lack of desire the lads showed to make the difference and change the outlook of the game.

It took us till the 75th min to break the deadlock with Sean Raggett calmly finishing from close range. Minutes later Niall Jackson made it 2-0 with a excellent solo finish.

After the goals the tempo got better, with more urgency and composure on the ball was shown, producing some good opportunities in the final third.

I am looking forward to next week’s home game against Redbridge (13th) where I will be looking for a reaction and a much better performance.
