JIM ANSWERS QUESTIONS

CLUB STATEMENT

*BS*DOVER ATHLETIC will be asking Folkestone Invicta to clarify comments reportedly made about our striker Jimmy Dryden on BBC Radio Kent on Saturday, attributed to their manager Neil Cugley.

*BF*Chairman Jim Parmenter insists *BS*NO *BF*approach has been made by Folkestone Invicta to Dover Athletic for Jimmy and had there been we would have told them he is not available.

Jimmy is a contracted Dover Athletic player – and the club have an option to extend his current contract by a further year if we wish in the summer.

Caretaker-boss Terry White only stated a couple of days ago that Jimmy is definitely not for sale and is going nowhere. He is seen as a big part in Terry’s first-team plans.

It is not correct for rival football clubs to make public comments about players contracted elsewhere – and we will be contacting Folkestone Invicta in due course asking for them to explain these comments.
