BRAITHWAITE'S BACK

DAFCtv: BRAZ THE HERO

DANIEL BRAITHWAITE headed home a dramatic late winner – as Dover finally converted one of their many chances at Crabble in a 1-0 win against Molesey.

In a one-sided affair, Whites finally pressed home their advantage when Braithwaite headed in a corner.

Whites had hit a post twice, had a goal disallowed, saw chances go begging, shots cleared off the line and penalty appeals turned down before Braithwaite became the River End hero by grabbing a vital win.

Chairman Jim Parmenter did a jig around the directors’ box as the goal finally went in – and before the match stated that manager Clive Walker and his team will be getting the board’s full backing for the rest of the season.

The 1-0 win takes us to within four points of the play-off spots, with a game or two in hand of our nearest rivals.

Now we urge all fans to get to Crabble on Tuesday as we take on Hastings and let’s get this show back on the road. We can do it.
