Moses Emmanuel is a skilful winger and striker and made his return to Dover Athletic in the summer of 2016.
Moses began his senior career in 2007 when he played 36 times for Croydon Athletic, scoring an impressive 19 times in the Ryman South League. This earned him a trial with Charlton Athletic and Brentford and Moses would go on to join The Bees for a reportedly £2,500 fee. Despite this, Emmanuel’s time at Brentford wasn’t fruitful and after making 8 appearances went on loan to Conference South side Welling United towards the end of 2008.
Emmanuel then found himself loaned out to Woking FC in 2009 and after scoring 4 times in 15 appearances for the Cardinals, made a permanent move to the Surrey side in January 2010. He would go on to spend two years at the club, scoring 25 goals in 95 appearances. This caught the attention of fellow Conference South side Eastleigh whom he joined in July 2012. Moses would be The Spitfires’ joint top goal scorer with 7 goals in 15 appearances in November of that season.
In November 2012 Dover quickly snapped the 23 year old Emmanuel up, as Chris Kinnear looked to bolster his attacking options ahead of a push to get promoted to the National League. After appearing 48 times in a White shirt, but only netting on 3 occasions, Moses would look elsewhere to ply his trade in 2014 when he moved away from Whites to join fellow Kent side Bromley. Moses would become a key figure in Bromley’s title winning season in 2014/15 and also in their following season in the National League. Over Emmanuel’s two year stint at The Ravens, he would score 35 times in 82 games, making him one of the most prolific goal scorers about.
Moses re-signed for Dover Athletic on 5th August 2016, following his impressive stint at Bromley, much to the delight of Dover fans.
