DAGGERS RECALL JACKSON

Conference side Dagenham & Redbridge have recalled midfielder Jimmy Jackson from his loan spell at Dover Athletic.

The experienced left-sided player had his initial one-month loan extended last week but the Daggers have since decided that they will need him over the Christmas period.

The departure leaves Whites manager Richard Langley with a selection dilemma ahead of Boxing Day’s visit of Eastborune Borough. Jackson will have to be replaced at left wing-back and Darren Davies is the player most likely to benefit, with injuries ruling out any involvement for Simon Glover and Dean Readings.

Jackson played 7 matches in his brief spell with the Whites and scored one goal. His arrival, along with that of Andy Crofts from Gillingham, coincided with an upturn in Dover’s fortunes and has seen the Whites record victories in each of their last six matches.
