HYTHE TOWN STATEMENT

*BS*HYTHE TOWN look forward to welcoming our friends from Dover for the FA Cup game on Saturday at Reachfields.

*BF*The ground will be open from 12noon and we have laid on extra parking on Hythe Green (see below).

*BS*Address: *BF*Reachfields Stadium, Reachfields, Hythe, Kent CT21 6LS.

*BS*Transport – Bus: *BF*Fort Road or Light Railway Station stops.

*BS*Rail: *BF*nearest mainline station is Sandling on the Dover-Ashford line but this is a fair walk away. For a bit of fun travel from New Romney or Dymchurch on the Light Railway – the Hythe station is a couple of minutes walk from the ground.

*BS*Car Parking: *BF*Pass holders cars (players, officials and their guests) only will be admitted to the two small parking areas adjacent to the turnstiles.

Neighbouring streets are usually congested on a normal Saturday so we urge all others travelling by car to use the overspill car park laid on for the match by the Rotary Club (for a small donation per car) on The Green.

Access is via Portland Road which is immediately left after the Dukes Head pub (just out of Red Lion Square). Parking is from 1pm to 6pm. It is just 5 minutes walk to the turnstiles (in the Dymchurch direction).

*BS*Admission: *BF*£7 (adults) or £4 (concessions; OAP’s and schoolcchildren). We will be operating four turnstiles, one of which will be for pass holders only.

*BS*Match programmes: *BF*£1 (we’re printing plenty) and are always an excellent read.

*BS*Bar: *BF*The bar will open at noon. The burger/tea bar will also be open from 12noon. Due to the numbers expected, stewards will need to clear the upstairs bar area to all except pass holders immediately before the match until the final whistle. Only pass holders will be able to use the balconies to view the game.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and to a very good game.
